Potlucky
I was the most hated man in our office for about an entire week after our last potluck, where it was discovered to everyone's extreme horror that the "delicious" pork filling in the eggrolls I brought in was a bit undercooked. They were the color pink, and a few of my coworkers even called in sick the next day.
So I was a bit worried about the dish I was bringing in this year: crab rangoon (obviously staying consistent with the Asian theme for no reason at all).

Although I would've been content with simply not giving people tapeworms this time, I think I actually did a pretty decent job. Just look at the smiles on the faces of all of my taste-testers from last night:

What a success story! And to think, up until last week I had committed to making a turducken (but decided against it because it's too much time and money), which I am certain would have given everyone salmonella!

Haha did you pay everyone to smile like that or something?
Hey rockstar, send the recipe over my way.
Awww...too cute...you're wearing an apron!!
Youre such a good cook Pete!
crab rangoons ranks up there with chicken quesadillas, those sandwich spiral things, potato wedges, mini crab cakes, and brownies as some of the most awesome finger food ever. Also, as an FYI, i have integrated "nacho" into most of my conversations. We may have a front runner for 09...
