Back in business

Ha, and you people thought the reason this site hadn't been updated in six days was because I was actually beginning to have a life. Nah, it was because of some problems I was having logging into my weblog publishing system, Movable Type, rendering me temporarily useless to the internet community. My trusty tech guru and lackey, John, worked around the clock, constantly ignoring pleas from family and friends while snapping at them, "No, okay? I can't go. Pete needs me." so that he could diligently trace the problem through MT's source code. Apparently there was something going on on the server side that was causing form values to not be passed when the script was processed, although URL parameters seemed to work just fine hee hee honk honk. But now it's all fixed.

Anyway, thanks John, for spending your weekend looking into this for me. Your neglected wife is sending you divorce papers as I type this, but hey, at least you've made it possible for Ill Noise to continue to be updated!

For those of you keeping track at home, the longest I've ever gone without updating this site was nine days. Other than that stretch, I've been a highly productive, well-oiled blogging machine. Yeah I know I'm awesome. High five. Ladies, please form an orderly line, etc.
