Preventive medicine
CHRIS, A FRIEND IN MED SCHOOL: Hey Pete. Free prostate exams today at Northwestern. You should go.
ME: Forget that! No one's poking their fingers around up in my ass. I'll worry about it when or if I ever have trouble peeing.
CHRIS: Oh, come on. Early detection is very important. Did you know that 1 out of every 6 men will have prostate cancer at some point in their lives?
ME: Scary, but not scary enough to convince me to have someone exploring places only my bar of Irish Spring has ever seen!
CHRIS: Fair enough. Did you know that masturbating regularly, at least five times a week, greatly lowers your chances of the getting the disease?
ME: I like my chances of survival already.

I didn't know that, I guess that means I have nothing to worry about as well.
Heres a helpful link to a recent development in prostate cancer testing. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/CancerPreventionAndTreatment/story?id=3090785&page=1
