Pull/Pulk

Is it me or are revolving doors the shopping mall equivalent of Double Dutch? I have a very poor sense of timing and depth perception. Whenever two little black girls swinging jump ropes ask me to jump in, I'm always terrified. It provokes the same flinching effect in me as when I'm frying an egg and the oil is spattering loudly and I'm scared because I want to flip it over BUT I JUST! CAN'T!

And needless to say, I always manage to get smacked across the face by the jump rope.

The same goes for revolving doors. I see them spinning and spinning, people going in, going out, and I just can't seem to time it right so that I can go in without hurting myself, like today when I apprehensively stared at the doors for a couple minutes before saying "Geronimo" and darting in as fast as I could. Only to get my left hand smashed really good on the closing end of the door.

Man, I thought I was the only one that had issues with revolving doors.

Lack of timing and depth perception? I've seen you play basketball. Yer not that bad. (Calls B.S.!)

You are afraid of the strangest things! Start out small, go to Ikea....they have a huge revolving door that moves as you walk! It's right by Woodfield too.....let's go shopping!!!

Ouch that has to hurt.

But I don't get what the problem is. I've encountered people that block my way because they just stare at the doors. Just jump right in and move right along, hehe.
