Apparently, the Lake View neighborhood is populated by a seething mass of not only gay people (as evidenced by what me and Frank saw during our walk home from the bars last Saturday night), but quasi-celebrities. And in some cases, gay quasi-celebrities.
I'll explain. Last night when I went to go workout, I jumped at the sight of a very familiar face.
"...Shane? The gay guy from MTV's Road Rules: Campus Crawl and the subsequent Real World/Road Rules Challenges? Is that you?"
He swiped my membership card, handed it back to me, and answered, "That's me. In the flesh."
"OH MY GOD, DUDE!!!" I screamed. "You were like, my favorite cast member!"
I lied. Theo and The Miz are my favorites.
And then I had to ask: "So... What are you doing working here? Um, shouldn't you be at an Inferno or Gauntlet or whatever?"
Shane just shrugged and laughed, then started folding towels.

Those real world people are such real life losers. The best they can do is travel the country visiting college campuses, hoping that people give them free stuff? Horrible.
At least Shane isnt too ashamed to make a real living.
