Directions
There's something about the direction diction that Google Maps or Mapquest or whatever uses that really piques my anxiety on the road.
I hate all those "BEAR RIGHT"s they give you. What does BEAR RIGHT, BEAR RIGHT, BEAR RIGHT, TURN RIGHT mean?
BEAR RIGHT ONTO ALGONQUIN RD, TURN RIGHT INTO ALGONQUIN RD, CONTINUE ON E ALGONQUIN RD.
Huh? What?!
TAKE THE EXIT TO ROCKFORD/CHICAGO (I-90)/ALGONQUIN RD (IL-62).
HUH/WHAT/I DON'T GET IT/WHY SO MANY WORDS AND NUMBERS?

that's why i chauffer, fool
You left out veer right.
You bear when you go a direction that doesn't require a stop. DONE AND DONE.
But hey....you got there and you got to party it up with me...that's all that matters!! Pete...you rock. Lynn...you rock for driving their drunk asses!
Of course, you left out the part where Lynn tells you to go right and you keep driving straight and then we have to turn around.
bear rights are all the rage out here in washington state. i think they even get their own parking spaces. stupid bears.
two kudos to Lynn, one to pete for being so witty, myspace style
I've gotten lost more times using Mapquest than not.
