Directions

There's something about the direction diction that Google Maps or Mapquest or whatever uses that really piques my anxiety on the road.

I hate all those "BEAR RIGHT"s they give you. What does BEAR RIGHT, BEAR RIGHT, BEAR RIGHT, TURN RIGHT mean?

BEAR RIGHT ONTO ALGONQUIN RD, TURN RIGHT INTO ALGONQUIN RD, CONTINUE ON E ALGONQUIN RD.

Huh? What?!

TAKE THE EXIT TO ROCKFORD/CHICAGO (I-90)/ALGONQUIN RD (IL-62).

HUH/WHAT/I DON'T GET IT/WHY SO MANY WORDS AND NUMBERS?

Of course, you left out the part where Lynn tells you to go right and you keep driving straight and then we have to turn around.
