It's Barbosa, not Barbaro

No matter what happens from now until midnight, the highlight of today will be meeting Bulls point guard Chris Duhon during my lunch break, at an autograph signing event. As I expected, he was great in person, smiling and looking everyone in the eye, making an effort to talk to even all of the quiet, star struck fans.

Not one to leave without making a huge impression, I showered Duhon with compliments while he signed his photograph for me, saying how much I enjoy watching him run the point. I even offered a little advice on his game, by explaining that he should attack the rim more by using lots of spin moves, and that he should also think about developing a post-up game similar to Mark Jackson. Gracious as he could be, Chris nodded sincerely and said, "I really appreciate your input, man."

I ended the overlong conversation with a wave, adding, "...And say what you will about Barbosa, but I really think that you are the best backup point guard in the league."

Seldomly used Bulls guard Eddie Basden, who was also at the autograph signing session, looked confused and then turned to Chris. "Hey Du, why's he talking about that horse in a cast?"

as evidenced in NBA 2K6, too many spin moves leads to the ball being easily stripped from you. Use spin moves sparingly. Very cute that NBA players are unaware of their peers, esp ones that put on a fine showing in the playoffs.

The older posts won't let me comment, so I'm going to have to place my vote here:

I say Pete's cuter than Nathan.

Hands down.
