Liveblogging Nyquil

1:23 AM: There’s not much time left. I just took my 30 milliliters of Nyquil, so I should pass out within the next 15 minutes or so. I’m liveblogging this because let’s face it, it’s been 4 days since my last blog and people start to get antsy if I’m idle for more than a couple.

1:25 AM: Liveblogging, in bloggerspeak, means I’m providing real-time commentary.

1:26 AM: I’ve been sick for 10 days but refused to take any medicine during the whole time because I just hate it. What I've been doing for the past week and a half is attacking my flu the Tom Cruise way: taking multi-vitamins. But today when I coughed for the 93rd time in class, everyone looked at me at the same time. One kid even slapped his desk in exasperation. So here I am, taking Nyquil so that I don’t have to worry about my insomnia tonight (I really do have chronic trouble with sleeping, I’m not one of those dorks who pretend that they have insomnia but then sleep for 9 hours when they think no one is looking) and to get rid of my flu once and for all. On the bright side, my teacher was gracious enough to ignore me during my cough attacks, although I could have sworn I saw her piece of chalk squeak in fear across the board when I coughed really really loud that one time.

1:29 AM: Liveblogging is so much more fun if the Superbowl or Academy Awards are on.

1:30 AM: All of my socks are dirty. They’re all black on the bottom, all of them. And I just sneezed without covering my mouth and nose and now there’s dots all over my computer monitor. If you look closely at the dots, you can see rainbows inside them.

1:31 AM: The Nyquil is working. I’m getting sluggish. It’s creeping through my body. I feel really wormy. I’m playing a Radiohead song called Worrywort.

1:32 AM: ...

1:33 AM: Shit. This really is working. I’m sinking in my seat. My head is lazily swaying around on top of my neck. I look like those crazy people at Christian revivals who writhe around in their seats before collapsing onto the floor and speaking in tongues.

1:34 AM: ...

1:36 AM: ...

1:37 AM: ...

1:38 AM: Time for me to set my alarm for 7:45 AM. Life sucks. I can’t stay up any longer. Time to change the Post Status of this entry from Draft to Publish before I begin slipping away from reality... Goodnight world.

poor guy! :~( It only took 15 minutes for the Quil to work. Not bad. But hey, I don't want to hang out with you this week, anymore! I'm already feeling funky from my allergies with this stupid weather.

What happen next? I thinking of taking NyQuil to help with the sleeping, any side effects? Did you wake up from the 6 hour sleep by the Alarm clock or did you sleep right through it?
