Making Progress: a year ago, I would have burned the evidence
Why is it that even though I’m a 24-year-old grown man and live all by myself in my apartment, approximately 150 miles from my mom, I still lay all of my Maxims face down after I’ve completed reading them and then slide them under my bed?

I think the troubling thing is you find Maxim as exciting as ya know real porn. Maxim is porn for people who are too young to buy Playboy, as Nic said maybe someday soon you will discover other things.
Good to hear from you Cole, i'm ecstatic about Pierre. Fastest guy in baseball and also a model citizen. Sure he has that relatively low OBP, but he rarely strikes out and will fatigue opposing pitchers by making contact all the time for foul balls. It took KKKKKKKorey Patterson 2 or 3 pitches to get out, now pitchers will need 7-8 pitches to get Pierre out. But when Pierre DOES get on base, he's turning every single into doubles.
Larrballs, I never intend to buy Maxim but whenever I go to the bookstore I'll pass by the aisle and see someone like Michelle Branch or Rachel Ray on the cover and I'll be like WTF, how did these people convince them to pose? And then obviously I have to buy it.

Maxim allows the reader to use their imagination, even though the women are airbrushed to no end. The women in Maxim are, in my opinion, usually more desirable as well. Women such as Jessica Alba, Kirsten Dunst, Elisha Cuthbert, etc. Leaving something for the reader to imagine is just as powerful as everything hanging out. I am pro Maxim Pete, and a proud subscriber! Playboy is hot too though haha
