Bisoxual
History could be made tonight. If the White Sox win tonight’s game, they’re in the World Series, and if they’re in the World Series, they’re going to beat the living shit out of the Astros. You heard it from me.
Cub Nation, hear me now. Let’s put aside our petty differences, our Northside/Southside war of words, our insecure assertion that Wrigley Field is the center of the baseball universe. For just a brief time only, let’s all be brothers and sisters. United.
My Cubbie brothers and sisters, I know it’s tough, but let’s be bisoxual. Let’s put this nondescript team on our shoulders and give them the love and support we’ve been pouring into our beloved Cubs for our entire lives. Because the only thing they’re lacking has nothing to do with cleanup hitters, but that extra-special fan affection that they’ve envied and resented the Cubs for for years.
Let’s think outside of the sox for a moment and realize that we’re all still Chicagoans, and that even Harry Caray himself was the voice of the White Sox for some time.
I never thought I’d be saying this in a million bajillion gazillion cubillion years, but... GO WHITE SOX.

use enough puns? you're too gay to be bi.
you 'sox'!
nonetheless, preach on brotha
Yes, please, Chicagoans, put aside your differences. That way, the Cubs bad karma can seep into the South Side, and all will be well in St Louis or Houston, or maybe even Anaheim, I mean Los Angeles, errr California.
"for angels, its their first lead sense they won game one" yea... i sure aint no traitor, cubs-bulls-bears, but itd be nice to see sox make it all the way.
well put Pete,
I admit against the braves i wanted to see the cubs go down in flames, but something happened. I felt bad for the cubs and saw how happy it made like 95 percent of chicago, so i pulled for them. We all need a Chicago team to do well, its been a long time since Jordan dominated everyone and everything (sigh). So everyone, cheer for the 5 percent of us white sox fans!
It is very very hard to be a White Sox fan in Chicago...it is a status that you earn only after being kicked in the balls/boobs many many many times....literally and figuratively.
It's hard to be a fan of the team who plays second banana in a city where the home favorite team is the worst in baseball.
You earn the right to be a White Sox fan. The very very few of us there are get to travel to the ghetto to watch games...get to sprint to our cars when the game ends...and are left with the urge to attack the opposing first base coach out of frustration.
We appreciate bandwagon support...but these victories belong to the south side.
I totally agree with you! I'm a huge cubs fan and huge baseball fan. My family has been divided by the teams for a long time but we always have fun with it. We go to the cubs soxs game in huge groups and talk crap to each other, when they won last night I had to call my uncle to congrat him on his team winning. so GO SOX!! Its about showing love and support for your CITY CHICAGO ... any sane person can see that. For all you bitter cub "fans", loosen up and actually try to love the game of baseball and be happy and proud for your city. By the way you aren't a true cub fan unless you can appreciate baseball, be laid back about it, and have fun with it ... whos the bandwagon jumper now?
