Movable Type, at Last!
Let's face it, I was still in the stone ages as far as web publishing goes. For the past year, I've been designing my site manually through Dreamweaver and using the Haloscan system for my comments. It was an extremely inefficient method; not only did I have to constantly manually update things such as my RSS feed, archives, and main index, but posting entries on my site took FOREVER. I always had to check my HTML to make sure it was perfect, and insert certain code here and there. It was an awful method.
For a guy who graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science, this system wasn't very impressive.
No more. I've converted my website to Movable Type, making my web publishing life a whole lot easier. All of the web's popular bloggers use MT, and I'm happy to say that I'm now finally one of the big boys in the game. I still have a lot more work to do on the site, but all in all I'm pretty pleased with the conversion so far.
Hee hee honk!
