The First Annual Nguyen Family Pumpkin Carving Contest was all it was hyped up to be. Gone were the cliches. If you wanted to see the triangle-eyes-with-zig-zag-mouth thing, you came to the wrong place. If you thought this was some family bonding thing, you were wrong.

The Nguyens play for keeps.

My pumpkin looks pretty scary huh? OoOoOoh. But, alas, my mom the judge said it was a three-way tie. I think that's plain BS since my pumpkin is clearly the most superior and the degree of difficulty is off the charts, word up, word up.
