Hell Freezes Over

They're kind've like the Cubs, sorta. Same incredible fans, same shrine-like ballpark. Same curse.

'Cept now, it's looking like the curse is reversed for the Boston Red Sox. Maybe us Cub fans are living vicariously through Boston when we cheer for them as they come back from an 0-3 series deficit to defeat the Evil Empire.

I'm not at all jealous when I see those Red Sox jumping up and down for joy in the middle of the field after the victory. These Red Sox are a special group. With their unshaven faces and muddy uniforms, they are the antithesis of the clean-cut Yankees. Seeing these guys embarrass those Yankee scumbags didn't make me jealous at all, it made me smile.

What I saw tonight was history in the making, the most improbable comeback in all of sports. Good for you, Boston.
